VM Computers

What it does

A Fabric mod in which players order computer parts from an in-game satellite and assemble a computer that runs a real VirtualBox virtual machine, displayed and controlled in the Minecraft world. Coverage and creator footage show DOS Doom being played on these in-game PCs.

Requirements & limitations

Fabric for Minecraft 1.15–1.16.5, VirtualBox 6.1 or later installed locally, and the user's own OS install media; single-player on the user's own client only.

Evidence limits

The GitHub repository (archived 2024-07-10; LICENSE is GPL-3.0 text), its 1.4.15fix release (2021-04-09) and press coverage were reviewed on 2026-10-09. No independent catalogue play-test or binary safety review was performed.
