passthrough-mod-toolkit
Generates the shared-memory bridge skeleton for two-process "passthrough" game mashups from one schema.
What it does
A builder's toolkit for passthrough mods, where a guest game (usually Minecraft) owns the player's body and a host game owns the world, with the two processes bridged over shared memory. One schema.yaml generates protocol bindings in C++, C#, Java, Rust and Python; fake-host and fake-guest stubs let bridge logic be exercised without either game installed, and a parameter library and MCP server support agent-driven builds. The creator documents that its schema reproduces the SkyCraft, FalloutCraft and ValCraft protocol headers with zero structural difference.
How it works
schema-driven code generation for two-process shared-memory passthrough bridges, with stub processes and a round-trip check against existing SkyCraft-family headers
Requirements & limitations
Python 3.9+ with PyYAML for the toolkit. Generated bridges target the user's own game installs and loaders (for example SKSE, BepInEx, ScriptHookV or F4SE), which are not bundled; the host-side game plugin must still be written and calibrated per game build.

Evidence limits
The repository README, AGENTS.md, LICENSE, headers/NOTICE.md and file tree were reviewed on 2026-10-08 (MIT licence; the SkyCraft and FalloutCraft reference headers are redistributed under their MIT licences with notice; ValCraft's unlicensed header is not redistributed). The catalogue did not run the toolkit, and no game play-test applies.
