Minecraft X Saints Row: The Third Remastered
Runs real Minecraft inside Saints Row: The Third Remastered, with building, TNT and combat in Stilwater.
What it does
Both games run at once: Saints Row owns the world, vehicles and camera, while on foot Minecraft moves the player, renders from SR3's camera and is depth-tested against SR3's depth buffer. Raycasts turn SR3's floors and walls into invisible Minecraft collision, Minecraft swords, arrows and mobs damage SR3's people through stand-ins, and Minecraft TNT becomes Saints Row explosions. The README calls it early and only partly verified in the real game.
How it works
dinput8.dll link in SR3 + Minecraft Fabric mod over WebSocket and shared memory, with a Present-hook compositor (derived from universal-modder's Minecraft x GTA V example)
Requirements & limitations
Windows 10/11 and Saints Row: The Third Remastered on Steam; building from source needs Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools, CMake, Python 3.10+ with several packages and a portable JDK 25. The first Minecraft start downloads Minecraft 26.3; no binary release is published.
