Minecraft in Minecraft (CHUNGUS 2 redstone computer)

A playable miniature Minecraft running on a redstone computer built inside Minecraft.

What it does

sammyuri's team wrote a tiny 3D Minecraft for the CHUNGUS 2 redstone CPU and ran it inside Minecraft. It has mining, crafting, smelting and chests at about 0.1 FPS on the accelerated MCHPRS server. The program source is on GitHub and the creator's video description links a world download.

How it works

A redstone-built 8-bit CPU (CHUNGUS 2, 1 Hz) with a GPU runs a custom 3D Minecraft-like game: an 8x8x8 world, 16 blocks, crafting, smelting, fall damage, 96x64 display

Requirements & limitations

MCHPRS (Minecraft High Performance Redstone Server) for usable speed (~10,000x)
