Available to play
LibertyCraft
Runs Minecraft movement, inventory and building inside GTA IV's Liberty City.
What it does
Minecraft owns movement, inventory, hotbar and blocks while GTA IV owns Liberty City, its camera, traffic and rendering. The creator describes the current source as early development but playable.
How it works
GTA IV ASI plugin + SkyCraft-derived Fabric mod over shared memory
Requirements & limitations
Linux with Steam + Proton (developed on Arch, Proton 11; Windows untested), GTA IV: The Complete Edition on Steam (the install script downgrades it to 1.0.8.0 and installs FusionFix + ZolikaPatch), owned Minecraft: Java Edition with Prism Launcher, plus bash/curl/unzip/python3; the documented xwin/clang/cmake/JDK 25 toolchain to build. Release notes (2026-10-10) also document a Windows install script.
