GEMU — retro consoles in Garry's Mod

What it does

Adds SNES, NES and Genesis console stations with CRT TVs, plus GB/GBC/GBA handhelds, that you play in-world in Garry's Mod. Games keep running when you walk away, player 2 is supported, and nearby players can watch. It is not subscribe-and-play: server owners must host the web frontend and their own ROMs.

How it works

Browser-based emulator frontend rendered through GMod's CEF onto in-world CRT TVs and handheld entities, with optional LiveKit spectator streaming and a native input module
